Obituary for Clint Wilson

Clint Masters Wilson was born April 23, 1991, in Palatka to Steve and Edie Wilson. He died unexpectedly in Boynton Beach, Florida, December 23, 2014. Clint attended local schools and graduated from Palatka High School with Honors in 2009. He was a member of the Panther Football Team. Before graduating he enlisted in the Army National Guard as a 14 Gulf, Sentinel Radar Operator with Alpha Battery 1st - 265 Air Defense Artillery Unit based in Palatka. He was deployed to Washington, D.C. and was part of Operation Noble Eagle as a Radar Specialist. Clint had also been a student at St. Johns River State College.
Clint loved the outdoors. He was his happiest on the St. Johns River off of Stokes Landing where he grew up. He loved NASCAR and the Gators, but most of all he loved his trucks. Clint lit up a room with his smile, always laughing, cracking jokes, and talking. But most of all Clint was a loyal friend to all who were lucky enough to call him “friend.”
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Guy and Charlotte Masters, paternal grandmother, Leah Wilson, and uncle, Gary Wilson.
He is survived by his parents, Steve and Edie Wilson, grandfather, W.M. “Bim” Wilson, grandmother, Louetta Wilson, sister, Nikki Wilson Pascia (Dave), aunts, Brenda Masters Whitehead (Don), Connie Wilson Rice (Tony), Jolee French (Rick) and Sandra Collins, uncle, Guy Masters (Rhonda), nephews, Dylan and Cooper Pascia, cousins, Traci Johnson, Corey Quick, Guy Masters, III, Chad Masters (Danielle), Brian Wilson (Beth) and Gary Wilson (Sheree).
