Condolence: I have fond memories of the Rowe family. I was given the responsibility to babysit the children on occasion. I'll remember the times at St. Mark's and Mrs. Rowe in the choir. Also,I'll remember when our parents got dressed up & went out together. My sisters & I nicknamed them the "big chill" couples. She was a sweet lady. My thoughts are with you.

Condolence: Seems like just yesterday we were meeting for another sad occassion....that of the passing of Devona's father. As we spoke today with both Aunt Martha and Alice of the similarities for me, I know your hearts are heavy. To all the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you, and know with the passing of time these fresh wounds will end and you will be able to reflect more on the happy memories you all had together. Now Devona joins the others gone before her in the great joys of heaven. She is blessed with a very happy reunion right now.

Condolence: I met Devona in 1980 when we began working on Master's degrees in Educational Administration and Counseling. We became close when we drove together to and from classes in Jacksonville. I appreciated her quick wit and great intelligence. We were planning to get together for a visit as soon as we could coordinate my coming to Palatka with her staying home. She will be greatly missed.

Condolence: I worked with Devona for a number of years in the teenage parent program. She was an excellent counselor and made a real concrete difference in the lives of the young mothers and their children. She was hard working and caring. I am glad I had the opportunity to work with her and to have been her friend. My love and prayers go to the family. I know from the many conversations we had over the years how much her family and her faith meant to her. Peace be with you all.
