WILLIAM A. GREELEY 

William A. Greeley, 84 of Interlachen, passed away, Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville following a short illness.  He was a native of Philadelphia, PA and had resided in Putnam Co. for the past 10 years coming from Massachusetts.  He had worked as a salesman with TRW (aftermarket auto parts) in New York, he had also served as a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII.  While living in New York, he had been active with the Council on Aging.  As his hobby, he enjoyed boating and sailing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Greeley.

He is survived by 5 daughters, Lydia Seymor of St. Augustine, Cynthia Kavanagh of North Chelmsford, MA, Priscilla �Percy� Greeley of  Interlachen, Martha McGinnis of Fayetteville, NY and Madelon Mackintosh of Hillsville, VA, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. 

Family memorial services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Interlachen.
