Thomas Kelly Klipstein 

Thomas Kelly Klipstein, 81, of East Palatka, died Friday, December 26, 2008 at Palatka Health Care Center following an extended illness.  He was a native of Picolata and resided in Putnam County for the past 21 years, coming from St. Augustine.  He was a US Navy veteran of WWII and Vietnam.  Mr. Klipstein was a master welder and was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by 3 sons, Kelly Klipstein (Sandy) of Needles, CA, Sam Klipstein (Katy) of Lakeland, John Leon Klipstein (Nicole) of Palatka, and a daughter, Juana Opp (Robert) of St. Augustine, a sister, Jackie Simmons of Jacksonville, 3 step-sons, David Alberico of Kansas City, KS, Bob Alberico of Bakersfield, CA, Tom Alberico of Joliet, IL and 10 grandchildren.  No services are scheduled.

Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka.
