ROYCE KAREN JACOBY 

Royce Karen Jacoby, 58 of Interlachen, passed away, Friday, December 19, 2008 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness.  A native of Ottawa, IL, she had resided in Interlachen for the past 15 years coming from Illinois.  She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God and operated a ceramic shop at her home.

Royce was preceded in death by her father, Jess B. Buchanan and numerous loved cats.

She is survived by her mother, Lucille Ducey of Interlachen, 3 brothers, Clare Buchanan of Interlachen, Jack Buchanan of Rosenberg, TX and Merlin Buchanan of Interlachen, former husband, Jack Jacoby of Interlachen and 8 adored cats, Ebony, Bobcat, Leah, Silver, Ken, Jezebel, Suki and Rufus.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home and Crematory in Interlachen.
