JUANITA  A. FLOYD 

     Juanita A. Floyd, a sweet angel was called home, January 3, 2009 at Kindred Hospital-North Florida in Green Cove Springs at the age of 86 years old.  She was a native of Berrien County, Georgia and had lived in Palatka since 1947, coming from Douglas, Georgia.  She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny C. Floyd, Sr.

     She is survived by 3 sons, Johnny C. Floyd, Jr. of Palatka, Jimmy Michael Floyd of Satsuma, and Dr. Jerry Ray Floyd of Memphis, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren, Kandace Velasquez of Whittier, California, Larana Edwards of Palatka and Erin Floyd of Memphis.  A special thanks and appreciation are expressed to her care-givers, Ella Shiflett and Christeen South.

     Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday January 6^th at the Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with Dr. David Thomason officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call Tuesday from 1:00 � 2:00 P.M. at the Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka.
