MARVIN  M.   MINTON, III 

  

Marvin M. Minton, III, 9, of Interlachen, died Sunday, January 18, 2009 in Alachua County from injuries received in an automobile accident.  Marvin was born in Gainesville and lived all his life in Interlachen.  He was a 2nd grade student at Interlachen Elementary School and attended Lake Area Bible Church in Melrose.  Marvin loved to draw and enjoyed fishing, playing ball and x-box games. 

    He is survived by his parents, Angie and Marvin M. Minton, Jr. of Interlachen, a sister, Ashley Marie Minton of Interlachen, his grandparents, Marvin and Shirley Minton of Interlachen, Kathy Lowery of Live Oak and a great-grandmother, Fran Thevenin of Lake City.

     Services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with Pastor Daniel Smart officiating.  Burial will follow at Paran Cemetery in Grandin.  No public visitation is scheduled.
