I went to college not far from where Betty-Ann and Earl lived so I would often visit them. One night they invited me over for dinner and my cell phone started ringing while we were eating. I silenced it and continued our conversation. Betty-Ann seemed shocked that I was using my phone in the house. She wasn't upset, she was genuinely surprised. She said she thought 'car phones' could only be used in the car. We giggled together and continued eating. This is one of my most treasured memories my time with Betty-Ann and Earl. I love you and miss you both.
