Obituary for Mark Hanna

Mark Elliott Hanna, 39, of Johnson, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at Shands at UF in Gainesville. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Mark grew up in Putnam County and was a 1993 graduate of Interlachen High School. He had worked as a tree surgeon, a handyman and in years past was a detention officer. Mark enjoyed fishing and volunteering at the food pantry in Hawthorne.
He is survived by his soul-mate, Aimee Redwine and her 4 children of Johnson, his mother and step-father, Carmel and George Babula of Williston, his father, Mark N. Hanna of Johnson, a sister, Elizabeth Warren and husband Derryl L. Warren of Melrose, a niece, Bryanna Crews, nephew, Derryl A. Warren, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends that were as family.
Memorial services will be at 6:00 P.M. Monday, November 11, 2013 at The Church at Orange Heights, 16700 NE SR 26, Hawthorne, with Pastor Lonnie Broome officiating.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Mark’s work with the food pantry, the family requests those that wish to bring non-perishable food items to the service.
